The app does nothing after installing
Almost always the Accessibility permission. ByeCtrlClick has to read mouse events to filter them, and macOS never grants that by itself.
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility and switch ByeCtrlClick on. If it is already on and still does nothing, switch it off and on again — after an app update macOS sometimes keeps the entry but drops the permission behind it.
Right-click stopped working
That is not ByeCtrlClick. It only filters the Control-click gesture; a real right-click and a two-finger click on the trackpad are passed through untouched. If those stopped working, the cause is elsewhere in the system.
Licence key
The key arrives from Gumroad by email right after the purchase. It is tied to your purchase, not to one Mac. If it is gone, search your inbox for Gumroad — and if it really is lost, write to me with the email address you bought with.
Refunds
ByeCtrlClick is sold through Gumroad, so refunds run through Gumroad.
Updates
ByeCtrlClick updates itself through Sparkle, and every version is listed on the changelog page.
